JESTERS

Jesters are a three-piece psychedelic folk band from the Oxford area, mixing their own contemporary songs with sung poetry and rabble-rousing fiddle and guitar tunes. They also perform complete remakes of traditional ballads such as Matty Groves, Thomas the Rhymer and Tam Lin, and adapt European folk melodies from Poland to Greece. And they've taken the visionary word to three Cornbury Music Festivals, as well as to dozens of pub and club venues in Oxfordshire, and further afield to music festivals in Filey, Fishguard, Glastonbury, Paignton, Poole, Weymouth and elsewhere.

Jesters are:
Jonathan Luxmoore - vocals, guitar, mandolin, percussion
Christine Ellis - fiddle, keyboard, recorders
Jonathan Brooks - double bass, oboe, concertina, ukelele
